TokuDB的特點(diǎn)：
1、高壓縮比，官方宣稱可以達(dá)到1：12。
2、高insert性能，官方稱至少比innodb高9倍。
3、可以在線添加索引和字段，速度快。

TokuDB的缺點(diǎn)：
1、cpu usr態(tài)消耗高
2、響應(yīng)時(shí)間變長。

安裝環(huán)境:
OS: centos 6.5
IP:192.168.0.103
TokuDB:5.6.29

安裝介質(zhì):
Percona-Server-shared、Percona-Server-client、Percona-Server-server、Percona-Server-tokudb（注意安裝順序）

安裝介質(zhì)下載:
https://www.percona.com/downloads/Percona-Server-5.6/LATEST/

安裝步驟:
1、先安裝Percona-Server-shared

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:

/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h linfytest3 password 'new-password'

Alternatively you can run:

/usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation

which will also give you the option of removing the test
databases and anonymous user created by default. This is
strongly recommended for production servers.

If you do not want to use this, either remove it, or use the
--defaults-file argument to mysqld_safe when starting the server

Percona Server is distributed with several useful UDF (User Defined Function) from Percona Toolkit.
Run the following commands to create these functions:

6、啟動(dòng)MySQL

8、安裝tokuDB插件

一些注意事項(xiàng)
1、alter table xxx engine=tokudb 的情況會(huì)加metadata鎖阻塞插入更新，而myql-5.6.17 innodb引擎則不會(huì)導(dǎo)致阻塞。
2、只有char, varchar, varbinary, and integer 字段類型的擴(kuò)展才支持online ddl【縮減不支持online 操作】，注意修改的時(shí)候字段屬性不能發(fā)生變化，同時(shí)也不能是任何主鍵或二級(jí)索引的字段【二級(jí)索引的話，可以先刪除二級(jí)索引，不過tokuDB創(chuàng)建索引二級(jí)索引并不快】，否則會(huì)導(dǎo)致copy表。
3、修改列名的時(shí)候必須是單個(gè)列修改，如果是一條語句同時(shí)修改多條語句則會(huì)copy表。
4、這些字段TIME, ENUM, BLOB, TINYBLOB, MEDIUMBLOB, LONGBLOB類型不支持online ddl。

12、tokuDB事務(wù)、鎖信息查看
查看事務(wù)情況：
SELECT * FROM information_schema.tokudb_trx,
information_schema.processlist
WHERE trx_mysql_thread_id = id;

查看鎖的情況
SELECT id FROM information_schema.tokudb_locks,
information_schema.processlist
WHERE locks_mysql_thread_id = id;

警告：
不要移動(dòng)任何TokuDB相關(guān)的文件、否則會(huì)導(dǎo)致數(shù)據(jù)庫崩潰并且需要使用備份才能進(jìn)行恢復(fù)。

(6)、關(guān)于TokuDB行格式
tokudb_row_format 可以設(shè)置如下的幾個(gè)值：
tokudb_default: 設(shè)置默認(rèn)的壓縮行為。在 TokuDB 7.1.0版本，默認(rèn)使用zlib 庫進(jìn)行壓縮，未來版本可能會(huì)改變。
tokudb_fast: 使用quicklz 庫的壓縮模式。
tokudb_small: 使用 lzma 庫的壓縮模式。
tokudb_zlib: 使用 zlib 庫的壓縮模式，提供了中等級(jí)別的壓縮比和中等級(jí)別的CPU消耗。

tokudb_quicklz: 使用 quicklz 庫的壓縮模式，提供了輕量級(jí)的壓縮比和較低基本的CPU消耗。
tokudb_lzma: 使用lzma庫壓縮模式，提供了高壓縮比和高CPU消耗。
tokudb_uncompressed: 不使用壓縮模式。
可以使用如下命令修改行格式：
ALTER TABLE table_name ROW_FORMAT=row_format;
注意修改行格式的操作也是online 操作。
