1       概述

在Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6以前，Oracle都是采用ASMLib包來(lái)管理ASM磁盤(pán)。但是2011年5月甲骨文發(fā)表了一份聲明，聲明中稱(chēng)Oracle將不再提供Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6的ASMLib包和相關(guān)更新。

甲骨文在這份聲明中表示，ASMLib更新將通過(guò)Unbreakable Linux Network（ULN）來(lái)發(fā)布，并僅對(duì)Oracle Linux客戶(hù)開(kāi)放。ULN雖然為甲骨文和紅帽的客戶(hù)服務(wù)，但如果客戶(hù)想要使用ASMLib，就必須使用Oracle的kernel來(lái)替換掉紅帽的kernel。

 

本實(shí)驗(yàn)部署Oracle+ASM，不再采用ASMLib，而是采用udev動(dòng)態(tài)管理ASM磁盤(pán)。

 

注意：Linux 內(nèi)核 2.6以上才支持udev。

 

虛擬機(jī)：VMware Workstation 9

操作系統(tǒng)：Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.6

系統(tǒng)內(nèi)核：2.6.18-238.el5

數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)：Oracle Database 11.2.0.1

 

2       實(shí)驗(yàn)步驟

之前已經(jīng)基于udev的方式創(chuàng)建過(guò)ASM磁盤(pán)，而且已經(jīng)安裝好Oracle Grid 、Oracle Database，并創(chuàng)建好了數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)，接下來(lái)將添加4塊1G磁盤(pán)，分別擴(kuò)展現(xiàn)有ASM磁盤(pán)組DG_DATA，新建ASM磁盤(pán)組DG_NEW_DATA。

 

查看新添加的磁盤(pán)，分別為/dev/sdb、/dev/sdg、/dev/sdh、/dev/sdi。
